Kerwin Holmes, Jr. is a Religious Studies doctoral candidate in the Judaism and Christianity in Antiquity program.  He is an alumnus of Morehouse College (BA), the University of Chicago Divinity School (MA), and the University of Virginia (MA).  He is currently working on a project aimed at highlighting the contributions of ancient Christians from Sassanid Persia.  Having served 3 years as a TA at UVa, this is his third year working at the Writing Center, and he looks forward to helping students succeed in their work.
