Kim Trotter is an ESL Lecturer at UVA’s Center for American Language and Culture. She has a Master of Arts in English Literature with a concentration in composition and rhetoric. Kim has taught writing to both native and non-native speakers of English and has volunteered for many years with refugees, most recently with Charlottesville’s International Rescue Committee. Kim procured her TESOL certificate after working with the bright, motivated individuals she met through these programs. She enjoys the international community and has a passion for connecting with students and helping them achieve their academic and career goals.
